HBO Latin America showcases a lineup of exclusive original content at MIPCOM 2019

Innovative Latin American productions include titles that bring the best in the region. 

Cannes, France – October 11, 2019. HBO Latin America, the leading premium, subscription-based, television network in the region, will be showcasing its exclusive catalogue of original content at MIPCOM, the world’s largest entertainment content market, taking place this October 14-17 in Cannes, France. The productions being presented will include:

SANTOS DUMONT 

This period piece tells the story of Santos Dumont, the famous inventor and aviator who captivated Europe with his aeronautical endeavors at the turn of the 20th century. Spoken in three languages, the story takes place in Brazil and France.

JOINT VENTURE (PICO DA NEBLINA)

Directed by Quico Meirelles, JOINT VENTURE depicts the story of a young drug dealer who decides to leave the criminal life and use his knowledge to trade within the law, in a fictitious São Paulo where marijuana has just been legalized. 

THE BRONZE GARDEN / SEASON 2 (EL JARDÍN DE BRONCE) 

The plot of this story created by Gustavo Malajovich and Marcos Osorio Vidal follows the life of Fabian Danubio after the reunion with his daughter Moira. As they both fight their own internal battles while trying to establish a relationship, an unexpected event leads Fabian to another investigation.
