Miami, January 8, 2013 – HBO Latin America announced the return of four highly acclaimed comedy series: 2013 Golden Globe® nominees Girls and House of Lies on January 20th, and Enlightened and The Big C on January 21st.

In its upcoming second season, HBO original series Girls, takes a comic look at the assorted humiliations and rare triumphs of a group of women in their early 20s living in New York City after college.Emmy® winning and 2013 Golden Globe® nominee for Best Television Series, Girls, is led onscreen by Lena Dunham, Emmy® nominee and 2013 Golden Globe® nominee for Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series – Comedy or Musical. A fresh and intimate look at friendship, relationships and self-discovery, Girls is a contemporary coming-of-age show that packs humor, farce and poignancy into each episode.

Also returning for a second season is the Golden Globe® winning original series Enlightened, following the story of an ambitious executive at a global conglomerate who returns to her fractured life after a humiliating public breakdown, determined to lead a more enlightened existence. Golden Globe® winner and co-creator Laura Dern stars in the series, which she executive produces along with Mike White, who also co-stars, writes and directs for the series.

Coming back for its second season is the hysterical comedy series, House of Lies. It follows the charming, fast-talking, top management consultant Marty Kaan, played by Don Cheadle –Academy Award® nominee and 2013 Golden Globe® nominee for Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Series - Comedy or Musical–, and his team of consultants who stop at nothing to get business deals done, even if it calls for extreme measures. The series also stars Kristen Bell and is written by Matthew Carnahan, directed by Stephen Hopkins and executive produced by Jessika Borsiczky.

Lastly, The Big C returns for a third season,following the life of teacher Cathy Jamison, played by Laura Linney – a reserved, suburban wife and mother who is diagnosed with melanoma. This new reality forces her to truly live her life to its fullest as she copes with her terminal diagnosis, finding both humor and sorrow in the many idiosyncratic relationships in her life. Directed by Bill Condon, creator Darlene Hunt also executive produces the series along with Laura Linney and Oscar® nominee Neal Moritz.

Girls, Enlightened, House of Lies and The Big C are half-hour comedy series.
